Short Biography

The path of John of the Pilates started from a personal need: to improve the physics of the situation and to deal with health issues that he was dealing with. Through the Pilates method invented a meaningful and transformative way of exercising – the power of conscious movement and its positive effect on everyday life.

This experience inspired him to follow the professional path and to be devoted to the teaching of the method. The first training was at the Art Action Pilates, where he then worked as a teacher, gaining valuable experience alongside the mentors, Christos Polizos and Thanasis Politis. In the context of deeper understanding of the function of the body, he was trained in Thai massage in Thailand, adding to a holistic and therapeutic dimension in its approach. At the same time, he has attended seminars and educational programs that connect the movement in consciousness, the contact with the body and strengthen through experience, such as yoga, Feldenkrais and martial arts.

Then, he continued his education in the Ilium Center of Light in the program Refined Pilates under the guidance of Jenny Colebourne and Ανδριάνας Zechariah. Their influence has been decisive in shaping the way we approach and teaching method.

John creates a safe and non judgmental environment where traffic is a means of empowerment, freedom and well-being. He believes that exercise is – and should be – an act of care, no pressure.

His lessons are targeted to everyone, regardless of gender, age, or body type, with a particular emphasis on trainees who are experiencing musculoskeletal problems or traffic restrictions. The core of this approach is the conscious and functional movement, always with respect to the body and the rhythms of the.
